As  Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, you are our elder brother who has taken oath to defend and protect all the citizens of this great country regardless of their religion, colour, language and regardless of whether they voted for you or not.

CAA, NPR and NRC have created a great deal of apprehension in our minds. In Assam, it seems 15 lakh people are to be put in detention camps after they were declared aliens in the Supreme Court monitored NRC exercise.  This was despite the fact that they produced all kinds of documents like Ration Card, Aadhar Card, Voter list etc. We also have nothing more to prove our citizenship.

We are told NPR is the first step of NRC. All those who face problem in NRC, whenever it is conducted, will be accommodated by CAA – all but Muslims. In other words, those Muslims, who will be considered aliens by a Government Officer, will be put in detention centres. This is MOST UNFAIR.

We know you have very high regard for Veer Savarakar. He has termed various religious communities like Muslims. Christians, Jews, Parsees as different colours of rainbow which increase the beauty of Indian Society. If that be the case, why should Muslims be singled out for being put in detention centres? Do we not add beauty to Indian Society?

You believe in Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas. We consider you as our elder brother. As your sisters, we would like to tie a Rakhi on your hand as a mark of our respect for you and our confidence that you will ensure that your Muslim sisters and their families will be entitled to live in this great country with respect and dignity that is due to us.
